Owner of Cambridge estate in St Elizabeth, Jamaica.
Thomas Lynch Linton and Sarah Graves, spinster, both of the parish of Trelawny, were married there 05/08/1797. With Sarah he had two sons: Henry Graves Linton (born 25/05/1798; bapt. 06/07/1798) and Robert William Linton (born 01/08/1799; bapt. 16/10/1799).
Thomas Lynch Linton and his wife Susanna Ruggles Linton had two children baptised in St Elizabeth: George Robert (born 24/05/1804, baptised 13/04/1805) and Thomas Lynch (born 23/04/1806, baptised 11/07/1806.
He was promoted Major, St Elizabeth Regiment, 30/04/1813, and died 24/02/1814, “leaving a widow and two children”. Thomas Lynch Linton esq, aged 45, was buried at Cambridge Pen, 25/02/1814.
Mr George Linton, about 35, Cambridge, was buried at Cambridge, 01/04/1840 (presumably the son George Robert Linton, born 1804).
