W.D. Rubinstein Who were the rich? A biographical directory of British wealth-holders Vol. 1 1809-1839 (2009) p. 119 reference 1817/20,which identifies her wealth as 'Jamaica plantation fortune'; there is a second entry for Martha Taylor at p. 325 reference 1830/30, but this in fact refers to the same woman - the 1830 entry in the Probate Calendar arose from a grant of administration of the 1817 will of Martha Taylor.
