Slave-owner in Jamaica, apparently resident, dying between 1811 and 1817. His estate, Good Hope, and the enslaved people on it then passed into the hands of John Wilson as trustee and executor. Another John Taylor of Good Hope, probably the man whose will was registered in Jamaica in 1880, was in turn executor of John Wilson.
