A John Russell Williams appears as one of the eleven natural children of John Williams of St Ann's in an Act of the Jamaican House of Assembly 27/11/1777. He is listed as a "free person" in the Accounts Produce.
John Russell and James Williams were owners of 60 enslaved people and 90 stock in St Ann, Jamaica, in 1792.
John Russell Williams, gentleman of St Ann, married Rebecca Bartlett, spinster of St Catherine, in St Catherine 26/05/1804.
