Biography

  1. Will of John Brownrigg [late of the parish of St Catherine in Jamaica but now of the City] of Dublin proved 24/03/1792. He left his land at Wexford to his sister Maria Brownrigg for life and then to his nephews, annuities of £20 p.a. to several relatives, and his property in Jamaica, including Phoenix Park [which he said was previously Messingham [sp?] in trust for his three nephews, John and [Rev.] Thomas Brownrigg the sons of his brother Henry Brownrigg and John Brownrigg the son of his late brother Richard Brownrigg of North Carolina.
