Resident planter, owner of Mount Alexander.

  1. Will of James Dolbert Questel of island of St Vincent proved 09/10/1830. Under the will he left his household goods and house at Mount Alexander in trust for the life of Mary Susannah Questel, and as to his estate of Mount Alexander he directed that his sons Hypolite Questel and Drewry Questel 'manage and cultivate the same' and share the proceeds among Mary Susannah Questel and 'my children Hypolite, Frances, Harriet, Jane, Mary and Mary Ann Questel.'
