In a List of inhabitants of St Peter, Barbados, 1780, Skeete was listed as owning 167 enslaved. This was probably either the Rock Hall estate or Mangrove, both of St Peter.
Elizabeth Skeete, widow of Doctor Edward Skeete and mother of John Brathwaite Skeete, was buried in St Peter’s Church.
