1795 - 1875
Inherited Hillsborough from his brother Thomas Greg in 1839, after Emancipation. The two men were sons of Samuel Greg (q.v.) of Quarry Bank. Robert Hyde Greg is in the ODNB as 'cotton manufacturer and economist.' Attended a Unitarian school.
