Wm Woodley was the claimant for the compensation for the enslaved people on Needsmust estate and one other as yet unnamed estate on St Kitts. Tentatively identified as Capt. William Woodley, in whose name the 1822, 1825 and 1834 Slave Registrations were made, and as son of William Woodley Lt-Governor of Berbice. Although Vere Langford Oliver shows no such son, the claim for Needsmust shows Capt. Woodley finding the will of his grandfather, who was presumably William Woodley MP (q.v.).
