Biography

Owner of Castlemine in St Mary, Jamaica. Also given as Bennet. Identified in the will of Robert Bennet of Charleston (proved 1817) as his brother and as 'Dr William Bennet.' The two men were the sons of Robert Bennet overseer of the works of Fort George North Britain, whose will was proved 15/05/1801. Dr William Bennet, Castle Mine, was buried 01/12/1820.
