Biography

Slave-owner in Jamaica, possibly the man earlier shown as overseer of estates in Port Royal and St David c. 1807, dying c. 1830.

  1. Will of John Satchell planter of Jamaica [made in 1826] proved 30/08/1831. He left to his housekeeper Mary Ann Manahan and their four children the Bloomfield estate, and left named enslaved people between them and his brother Charles Satchell.
