Anne Elizabeth Bramwell

Co-owner of Richmond Hill with Joseph Bramwell and Stephen Denton Bramwell (each of whom q.v.). The estate had belonged to Luke Bramwell (q.v. under Luke Bramwell I).

1. An Anne Elizabeth Bramwell widow married Allen Bowles mariner widower at St Nicholas Liverpool 21/07/1843. The entry gives her father as William Johnson farmer. It is not clear whether this was the same woman. It seems more likely that Anne Elizabeth Bramwell in the compensation records is a mistranscription for Anne and Elizabeth Bramwell. Luke Bramwell had daughters Ann (born 1801), Eliza (born 1803, probably died young) and Eliza Abell (born 1808) and the other two claimants were Luke Bramwells sons Joseph (born 1794) and Stephen Denton (born 1813).
