Father of George Heathcote MP for Hindon, Southwark and London 1727-1747, and almost certainly the same man as that given by Dunn as Joshua Heathcote merchant in Port Royal, in partnership with George Heathcote, and as managing Bybrook in St Thomas-in-the-East from 1691 to 1698.
