27th Aug 1766 - ????
Owner of Waterloo in Trelawny, Jamaica, from at least 1817 to 1823. Listed in normally reliable genealogical sources as the son of Thomas Rose and Ann Cross, born 27/08/1766 and dying in 1824. John C. Rose (q.v.) reportedly registered enslaved people as guardian to his daughters between 1824 and 1832 in St James and was shown as tenant-in-possession of Waterloo over the same period. Two of these daughters appear in the same normally reliable genealogical sources as the daughters of John Cross Rose.
