Husband of Margery Simpson and son-in-law of John Simpson of Bounty Hall and Elizabeth Simpson nee Lawrence. His wife was beqeathed an annuity of £600 in the will of his mother-in-law (proved 1828) and his children were to inherit his mother-in-law's estate on the death of the tenant-for-life, Francis's brother-in-law John Simpson of Fair Lawn.
