Of Barking, succeeded to an estate which he called Rawdon on Barbados from his father-in-law Marmaduke Rawdon (q.v.). In his will, proved 20/08/1792, Keeling said he had laid out substantial amounts to recover the estate, and had succeeded in recovering only a part, which comprised three houses, which he had labelled Rawdon Place, and which he left to his son also Joseph Keeling.
