Resident slave-owner, nephew by marriage of Thomas Todd (q.v.). He was indebted to his uncle James Phillips Utten at his death. James Utten Easson's son of the same name (shown as a General Practitioner in the 1861 census) formerly of Princes Street Cavendish Square but late of Frame Wood Stoke Poges died in England in 1872 leaving £6000.
