Elizabeth Gardiner

Annuitant under the will proved in 1775 of her uncle Hon. Peter Mackenzie (q.v.), the owner of Flint River. Possibly by virtue of arrears of the annuity, Flint River was shown as the property of her husband Christopher Gardiner between 1781 and his death in 1787. She died c. 1791.

1. Will of Elizabeth Gardiner widow of Esher Surrey proved 03/02/1792. The main beneficiaries were her niece and nephew Sarah and John Pannier, and James Gardiner, apparently then in Bengal and possibly the son of her brother-in-law and trustee Col. Thomas Gardiner. The will disposes of property in Esher, not in Jamaica.
