Significant slave-owner in Jamaica, dying c. 1780. Co-owner with John Bryan (q.v.) of a group of estates among which they appear to have allocated some to each of them. To date nothing further has been traced of him, but probably the father or uncle of the Hon. William Bryan (q.v.).
William Bryan was listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owner of 50 acres of land in St Thomas-in-the-East.
