Shown as owner of Chancery Hall in St Andrew Jamaica 1790-1791, and party to the suit of Walter v Evans, in which the creditors of Maynard Clarke and Susanna Maynard Clarke (each of whom q.v.) were interested. The suit might have predated Maynard Clarke's death (1759) since there are Chancery records dating to 1720 concerning the Chancery Hill [sic] estate.
