Sister of James Moyes and as such one of the beneficiaries of Hermitage estate in St Elizabeth, Jamaica. Janet Moyes was deceased by 1834 and James Moyes died in 1802. Alexander Maule in this parish and Janet Moyes in the parish of Kinghorn gave up their names to be proclaimed in order to marriage and after proclamation were married December 31st 1764 in Abbotshall. Five children with Alexander Maule baptised in Abbotshall, Fife, Scotland, between 1765 and 1775. Possibly the Jannett Moyes baptised 23/06/1752 in Kinghorn, parents David Moyes and Cristen Moyes.
