More probably the barrister of Spanish town whose will was proved 27/11/1854 than his uncle of the same name, of Wanstead Essex whose will was proved 11/05/1840.
2nd son of Empson Middleton of Waltham Abbey, Essex. Entered Middle Temple 1826 and called to Bar 1831; practised in Jamaica. Advocate-General. In 1832 married Eliza, 1st daughter of Edward Bedford of London. Died in Spanish Town, Jamaica.
