Biography

Resident slave-owner in Dominica, apparently alive in 1817, dead by 1819. The enslaved people on Fin Castle were sold after his death by his executors to the Londonderry estate (also on Dominica) c. 1819. Neither he nor his co-owner of Fin Castle, Elizabeth Chippendal [sic], has yet been traced further by LBS.
