???? - 12th Feb 1798
Shown as 'Mrs Fraser' and owner of Schepmoed and Essendam & Sans Souci in Berbice, which she left to her children Capt. Charles Henry Fraser, Jane Agnes Wilhelmina (later Rich) and Charlotte Mary (later Woodford). The will of Catherine Fraser wife of Noordwijk Holland (of which administration was granted 31/12/1828) was the joint will of Benjamin Goldsmid Elliott of Batavia and Mrs Catherine Fraser, and appears unconnected.
Johanna Agnes Westrik married Charles Henry Fraser (Minister Plenipotentiary to the Circle of Lower Saxony in 1798) in Holland 26/06/1793.
Johanna Agnes Fraser died 12/02/1798. Her 'unexpected death' is announced by John Coleman (a secretary of the English residency at Hamburg) in a letter to George Hammond 13/02/1798.
We are grateful to Mathieu Ferradou for his assistance in compiling this entry.
