Biography

Owner of the Bremen estate in British Guiana. Probably the same man as the William Bishop whose Belfield coffee plantation 'on the Arabian coast of Essequibo' was put up for judicial sale in 1824. Not further traced to date, although a William Bishop is shown as dying at Pln. Belfield 28/11/1826.
