Biography

Shown by Vere Langford Oliver as the grandson and heir of Thomas Elmes jun. (d. 1745), dying s.p. at an unknown date. It is not yet clear when the Elmes estate left the family, but it was already encumbered in 1745 following an agreement of 1738 with Robt. Christian to raise £4000 against the estate.
