Slave-owner in Jamaica, owner of Spring Bank in St Thomas-in-the-East, and dying c. 1832. The will of Robert Bolton of Kingston, Island of Jamaica, which takes the form of a letter to his sister Eliza Bolton in London and was proved 26/11/1802, appears unconnected.
PROB 11/1382/344. The 'will' is largely about the theft of 'cloathes' from Robert Bolton, although he left what he had to his sister and her two children.
