Martha McIndoe of Glasgow spinster counterclaimed for the compensation on Greenfield in St Thomas-in-the-East Jamaica against Gilbert Hailyburton (the executor) for an annuity of £60 p.a. under the will of Edward M'Indoe. The annuity had been current until 26/06/1834, and no payment had been made thereafter. The claim was listed as uncontested in Parliamentary Papers, so presumably the counterclaim was withdrawn.
