Biography

The executors of George Gordon identified in 1813 were John Gordon, Cosmo Gordon, Dr William M'Dougall, Dr Wm Stedman and John Sempill: there was a network of Scots expatriates operating in St Croix and between there and Copenhagen, and possibly between St Croix, Copenhagen and Glasgow.
