Biography

Of Liverpool in 1842, when he belatedly pursued the compensation for enslaved people owned by Hon. Peter Robertson (q.v.). Probably the man born c. 1820 in Kilmarnock or in Scotland shown at various addresses in the censuses of 1851, 1861 and 1871 in the north-west of England, a salesman.

Miller, 4 Moor Place, out of London Road, Liverpool, seeking compensation paid on St Thomas-in-the-East claim nos. 61, 450, 560, 561 and 562 stating that 'the late Mr Robertson was a near relative of my family and we are unable to obtain any trace of his effects or how they were disposed of.'
