Anglican clergyman, co-executor of Alexander Inness (q.v) and in that capacity counterclaiming on the enslaved people on Kingstown Park estate in St Vincent.

Succeeded his father as V. of Cavenham, Suffolk, 1805-41, and as R. of Tolleshunt Knights, Essex, 1805-57. Married Sarah Francis, of Heybridge Hall, Essex. Died Apr. 20, 1857, at Tolleshunt. Father of Thomas W. (1836) and the next; brother of John B. (1813). (St John's Coll. Adm., IV.).
