Biography

Annuitant under the will of her brother Henry Ashmeade proved in 1821, secured on his property (including enslaved people), when she was shown as of Bath. She might have been the Mary Ward of Grosvenor House Walcot buried at St James' Bath aged 74 27/03/1833.

Mary Ashmeade was baptised 16/06/1760, St Michael, Gloucester. Her parents were William and Mary Ashmeade. Mary Ashmeade married Samuel Ward at St Michael Gloucester 09/01/1781. His will was proved of Hampton near Bath 26/04/1817.
