"1826, Aug. 31. Compromise between the claimants to the estate of James Concanen, Esq., decd, Martin C. of Loughrea, co. Galway, clothier, and others. Jas. C., late of St. And., J., Esq., owned a coffee mountain pln cd Middleton and 220 negroes, and died at New Providence in 1810 intestate and without issue. 3 of them share the estate."
