16th Apr 1785 - ????
Susan Riches, born 05/09/1780, George Riches, born 16/04/1785, Mary Ann Riches, born 14/01/1794, the offspring of Ann Wallen "a free woman of color" by George Riches, were baptised in St Andrew, Jamaica, 03/05/1814.
George Riches registered enslaved people in St Andrew, Jamaica, as guardian of his children Susan, George and Mary Ann in 1817. In 1820 the same enslaved people were registered by George [the younger, signed as "free person of colour"] in the ownership of George Riches, Susan Riches, Mary Ann Riches, Ann Riches Woolfreys, Georgiana Woolfreys and Charlotte Riches.
Ann Riches Woolfreys (born 26/08/1797) and Georgiana Woolfreys (born 26/01/1801) were the daughters of Susan Riches by John Woolfreys, so the grandchildren of the original George Riches. Charlotte Riches is probably the Charlotte, daughter of George Riches and Ann Riches Woolfrys, both "free quadroons", born 06/06/1813 and baptised 28/11/1818 in St Andrew, Jamaica. In this case, George Riches the younger had a daughter with Ann Riches Woolfreys, his niece.
