William, Catherine Diana, Jane and Frances Gascoyne, all listed as "brown", children of Catherine Porter, were baptised in Westmoreland, Jamaica, 01/06/1826. Enslaved people were registered by Frances Porter for Ann, Diana, Janes and Frances Gascoigne as their grandmother and guardian from 1820 to 1832, and had been inherited from their grandfather Robert Porter of Sorn Hill. William (or Wm) may be a mistrancription for Ann in the baptism records.
