Biography

Owner of Alligator Hole and Milk River Pens in Vere, Jamaica. Apparently resident slave-owner; William Turner appeared in the Jamaica Almanacs for 1787, 1790 and 1796 as a Lieutenant, then Captain and finally Major in the Vere militia. Deceased c. 1796, but not otherwise traced further to date by LBS.
