Son and residuary legatee of Eliakim Palmer of London, who according to his will had interests in Barbados as well as in Boston. William Finch Palmer appears to have been mortgagee for £35,000 on the Walkers estate in Barbados in 1777, and a beneficiary under the will of the Surinam slave-owner Thomas Walker (q.v.).
