Isaac Dupuy the elder

Father of Isaac Dupuy (q.v.). Although the family has not been fully analysed by LBS, it appears that this was the Isaac Dupuy buried at Hammersmith of Layton Essex late of St Kitts who died aged 34 [sic] in 1771. If this man's age at death is accurately recorded then the Isaac Dupuy shown on Samuel Baker's 1753 map with an estate at Frigate Bay and a second one on the border of St George and St Peter Basseterre must have been of the previous generation.

Caribbeana Vol.III p. 40, which shows also Isaac Dupuy's sister Jane Akers wife of James Akers as dying in 1789 aged 65.
