Biography

Mrs Mary Hayman was in possession of Vidal's Prospect estate in St Mary, Jamaica, in 1807 as administratrix of the late Thomas Hayman of the City of London Esquire. Thomas Hayman was probably the merchant of Old City Chambers, Bishopsgate Street who was bankrupt in 1801. Mary Hayman was possibly the Mary Hayman widow of Bethnal Green whose will was proved 26/01/1810: in her will she described herself as late of Bishopsgate Street, but her late husband as William.
