Biography

Final generation of a St Kitts-Nevis slave-owning family of the 18th century.

  1. Will of Edward Bridgwater [late of the island of St Christopher but now] of Charlotte Street Portland Place proved 29/10/1811. He made his wife Harriott his universal legatee and co-executor, including of mortgage property in the West Indies.
