Joseph Paice

???? - 1810

Biography

London merchant of Bread Hill Street, trustee of Thomas Lucas of Lee and legatee of Thomas Lucas Wheeler (both of whom q.v.). He assigned a half-share of the St Kitts' property he inherited from the latter to John Beach (q.v.).

  1. Will of Joseph Paice late merchant of St Mary Newington Surrey proved 19/09/1810. His will, under which he left his residuary estate in fifth-shares to members of his 'kinsmen' the Gibson family, was silent on property in St Kitts, possibly reflecting his assignment of his interests there to John Beach.
