Sarah Malcom, daughter of Robert Monkton Malcom and Mary Chambers, born July 1788 and baptised in Hanover 13/12/1789.
Slave-owner in Hanover, Jamaica, died between 1820 and 1823. Very likely the mother of Susan McFarlane Campbell (q.v.), Mary Chambers Campbell (q.v.) and Sarah Dugald Campbell (q.v.). The three daughters were "white by law". Sarah Malcolm was listed as "free quadroon" at the baptism of her elder child Robert Campbell ("mestee") in Hanover 01/01/1812.
Sarah Malcolm registered six enslaved people in Hanover in 1817, all with the surnames Malcolm or Campbell. She registered six enslaved people also in Hanover in 1820. In 1823 the registration was made by John C. Evans (q.v.) as administrator of Sarah Malcolm deceased.
