1771 - 1826
Son of Robert Collymore, a white planter, and Amaryllis Collymore, a free woman of colour (both q.v.). Active campaigner for the rights of free people of colour.
Married Elizabeth Maria Belgrave, daughter of Jacob Belgrave senior and his first wife Elizabeth Ann nee Spike in 1795. Children Joseph Richard (1796), Reynolds Phillips (1799), Elizabeth Ann (1801), Amaryllis Charlotte (1802), Mary Maria (1804), Jacob (1809), Frances (1810) all baptised in St Philip or St Michael. His wife Elizabeth Maria was buried in St Philip in 1811 aged 32 years. He remarried, to Elizabeth Belgrave, widow of St Philip, in 1812. A son, Samuel Frances, was baptised in 1813 in St Philip.
Buried in St Philip, 31/08/1826 aged 55 years, abode given as St Anns.
