Despite the name, apparently male, serving as overseer to the Long family on Lucky Valley until 1773. Florence Donovan of St Ann, planter. Estate probated in Jamaica in 1775. Slave-ownership at probate: 58 of whom 31 were listed as male and 27 as female. 12 were listed as boys, girls or children. Total value of estate at probate: £8069.86 Jamaican currency of which £3235 currency was the value of enslaved people. Estate valuation included £0 currency cash, £2378.98 currency debts and £0 currency plate.
