James Baillie of Jamaica

???? - 1785

Biography

James Baillie of the Kingdom of Great Britain was shown as the owner of Leith Hall in St Thomas-in-the-East 1773-1776. Despite this absentee status, he was probably the same man as the James Baillie born 1724 dying at Morant Bay 03/10/1785. He was followed in ownership of Leith Hall by Samuel Crookshanks [or Cruikshanks] Baillie, also of Morant Bay.
