Life tenant of 'slave-property' in Antigua. Daughter of William Henry Doig (q.v.) and wife of Walter Riddell (q.v.).
Will of Ann Riddell wife of Lower Berkeley Street Portman Square [made in 1786] proved 12/06/1787. In the will she rehearsed her marriage settlement [dated 'May past'] whereby the estate at Rendezvous Bay was placed in trust for her for life and then entailed to the male issue, in default of which to the female issue.
Vere Langford Oliver shows a deed of 1784 in which Ann Doig spinster of Suffolk Street barred the entail on the estate at Rendezvous Bay.
