Slave-owner in Jamaica, apparently resident, shown as owner of Bunkers Hill in Trelawny in 1787 and 1794. When he married Elizabeth Haughton James in Hanover 08/09/1778 he was described as Thomas Reid jun.: this presumably referred to his father, possibly Col. Thomas Reid the founder or co-founder of Falmouth. Thomas Reid the younger of Belvidere (q.v.) was a different man. No will or death-date has yet been found for Thomas Reid of Bunkers Hill.
