Biography

MP and Lord of Trade, mortgagee of 'slave-property' in Grenada.

  1. In the will of James Oswald proved 31/01/1769 he left £2000 secured on property in the Granadoes [sic] to his brother Henry Oswald and then to his daughters (this appears to have been his major asset). His residuary heir was Mrs Leonora Robinson Lytton.
