Biography

Widow of Henry Parker of Vere (q.v), marrying James Grierson in 1788. In the will of James Grierson of Southampton he said that his wife Isabella had waived any inheritance from him, being perfectly satisfied with the jointure settled on her by her previous husband (Grierson left all his property in Britain and Jamaica to his daughter Mary Leslie Grierson). No will has yet been found for Isabella Grierson: she might be the woman of that name buried at St Marylebone 08/12/1799.
