Marriage of John Walker of Artillery Place Finsbury Square to Jessy, daughter of the late John Johnson [sic] of St Thomas-in-the-East 07/02/1820.
In 1851, John Walker 'landed proprietor N.B.' born West indies aged 58 and his wife Jessy born West Indies aged 52 [57?] were living at 14 West Mall Clifton with three children aged 18 to 21 all born in Dumfries.
Will of John Walker of Woodland and Crawfordton proved 24/10/1857. He left £10,000 to his daughter Jessy Elizabeth and £15,000 to each of his other two daughters. His main heir was his son Capt. George Gustavus Walker.
